Secure Jobs Better Future

The Australian Council of Trades Unions is coordinating this campaign focusing on
insecure forms of employment. A national inquiry led by Former Deputy Prime Ministyer Brian Howe heard evidence and case studies
from workers about their employment, hours, pay and conditions and the impact
of their work upon themselves, their families and the community throughout Australia from January to March 2012. Hearings occured in
all states and territories during the first quarter of 2012. http://securejobs.org.au/

The Darwin Hearing for the Secure Jobs Better Future Campaign was held at the Darwin Convention Centre, Stokes Hill Road Darwin.

A final report with recommendations from the Inquiry team was provided to the ACTU and was considered at the 2012 ACTU Congress.
