Unions NT visits schools, vocational and higher education   facilities throughout the NT providing information, advice and support on a range of issues including:

-  The role and functions of unions;
-  Employment related responsibilities;
-  Wages and Conditions of employment;
-  Influencing the training agenda;
-  Occupational health and safety presentations;
-  Human Rights;
-  Human resource policy and practice, including recruitment, selection,
   probation, promotion, performance management and related matters;
-  Grievance and dispute resolution processes;
-  Government relations and influencing the legislative agenda;
-  Public Policy;
-  Political relationships between industy, unions and government;
-  Advisory bodies to industry, government including education, training
   mining, OHS and workers' compensation;
-  Advice for student projects around work experience, transition from school to work
-  Industrial disputation
-  Contemporary and historical events involving unions
