About Us

Unions NT is the Northern Territory's peak trade union body and represents the
industrial interests of 15 affiliated unions and their approximately 25,000
members throughout the NT.

The organisation is registered as the 'Northern Territory Trades and Labor Council
Incorporated' and operates as 'Unions NT' which is situated on the First Floor,
38 Woods Street Darwin.

The Council of Unions NT comprises delegates of affiliated unions, elected officers of the Council (Unions NT Executive) and meets on the last Monday of each month at 3.30pm predominantly in the United Voice Conference room, First Floor 38 Woods Street Darwin.

The Executive Committee of Unions NT is compromised of a President, a Senior and Junior Vice President, Secretary and Assistant Secretary, a Treasurer, a Women's Officer, Returning Officer and 3 other Executive Members. The Unions NT Executive meet fortnightly or as required.
